We note the Year of our Lord, 1227. After many long years of absence from his beloved Castle, Satzvey, Count Arnold von Gymnich finally returns from the fourth Crusade in Egypt. He finds his home in turmoil with poverty and revolt reigning the once peaceful region. His betrothed, Lady Agnes, had been left in the safeguard of only a few loyal servants and the Castle has been overtaken by a horde of wild mercenary troops. Count Arnold is faced with his hardest task yet. Will he succeed in taking over his domain or will he have to resign his lady-love and all her servants to their certain and horrifying doom of death through torture and pain? |

This unique and oppulently breathtaking scenario was created by Michael Cornely and the Stunt-Coordinator Dr. Steve Szigeti and vividly portrays the history of the 600 year old Castle in Satzvey. Two large medieval markets, musicians, vendors, jestors, dancers, a childrens tournament (where the little ones can slip into costumes and mimic the knights), stilt-walkers and many more colourful medieval characters is open to the public. |
