The Knight’s Jousting Tournament

Satzvey Castle has been staging medieval festivals since 1981 making this site the oldest private castle in Germany hosting jousting tournaments. Knights in full armour, heavily caparisoned steeds, jugglers and jesters and the large medieval market make this event one of Germnay’s best known and most popular. A new
storyline is incorporated into the show every year with added excitement in the Saturday night fire shows.
